Tutorial: How to Antique Paper, Fast and Easy!
Making things look aged in my art journal or sketchbook used to be one of my very favorite things to do! I don't use this technique too much any more, but every once in a while, I decide to bust out this old trick, and it is still a lot of fun.
Here's what you'll need:
*Paper or a xeroxed photo (or whatever you want to "age")
*Gel wood stains
*A paintbrush
*An old t-shirt or paper towel (for wiping away the excess)

you are a rock star!this is awesome! can I do that on paper, then gesso, then paint? or what would be the process? Cheers!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for being so nice! I'm so glad you liked the video. Yes, you could do the technique on paper, add a layer of clear gesso, then paint over it. I hope that helps! :)
