Drawing In My Midori Traveler's Notebook
Lately, I've been spending a lot of time drawing in my Midori Traveler's Notebook. My notebook contains my day planner and monthly calendar, so it is always nearby. It's the first thing I grab when I feel compelled to put pen/pencil to paper (which is often). I've also got a writing journal in my Midori, so it's nice to be able to express myself through either writing or drawing whenever I feel inspired.
I'd love to make some new sketchbook videos soon... I've filled up quite a few since the last time I filmed one! I'm trying to figure out a better way to film things at my desk, since my previous setups were a bit awkward to film. I hope I can figure out a good new way to shoot videos, because I feel like that's a fun way to share the books quickly with you.
I hope that 2016 has been treating you well so far and that you have been having some fun being creative whenever you are able to!
Awww... I've missed your blog! My blog reading days fell by the wayside, but I'm starting to read them again!
ReplyDeleteI like that I can share more on a blog than IG, because... well, maybe you don't feel this way.. but I always feel if I post too much I'm "clogging" up people's IG feeds!
SO I will be visiting from time to time here as well as your IG.
I also signed up for your newsletter!
I can't "follow" because my blog is though "Google".
BTW - Love that girl w/ a star on her face...she's so pretty and bad ass but in a "delicate" flower kinda way... and that bottom black/white/ and yellow spread!
Thanks so much for stopping by and for your kind words! It's funny - my blog reading (and writing!) had fallen by the wayside too, but for some reason, since the start of the year I've been getting back into blogs in general again, and I'm pretty happy about it. I feel the same way about posting too much on IG - like I don't want to share too much and annoy the people following me, haha. We should stop feeling that way and just post stuff!! I hope you have a creative weekend! :)
